Virtual Nurse is an artificially intelligent companion that supports your healthcare and well-being needs. Wherever you choose to live, you want to feel independent and safe at the same time. Virtual Nurse exists to make this happen.
With a friendly face and natural language understanding, Virtual Nurse does away with apps, menus, and screens: you simply talk to it! Ask it for advice on health or medications and it will respond with clinically governed information in simple language.
Tell it you’re feeling unwell and it will ask you a series of standard medical questions and connect you to a real nurse if your symptoms are concerning.
Ask for an ambulance and it will call one for you. Even if you can’t, it will escalate to human carers when it thinks you need them and will call for emergency assistance if it thinks you’re in danger.

Virtual Nurse uses facial recognition to know who it is speaking with and what permissions they have.
It executes a care plan set up by your GP and reminds you to take your medication, eat your meals, and attend your appointments.
It can coach you through your exercises, help you to make appointments, and hosts your video telehealth consultations.
It works with your care provider organisation and informal carers so they can better coordinate their work while making sure you get the attention you need.

And, you don’t need a plethora of smartphone apps for all your health, well-being, and social needs: Virtual Nurse can provide all these services, as well as talking to your fall detector or smartwatch and many other safety and monitoring devices on your behalf. It can even coach you on devices that aren’t “connected” (such as your blood pressure machine) and store the results for your doctor to review.
And if there’s something it can’t do by itself, it can pass on your requests to other digital assistants and online services so that you don’t have to keep track of what app does what. So, you can get it to play music, search the internet for videos and podcasts that interest you, and keep you connected to family, friends, and people with common interests.

of your own healthcare management.
Current Status
Virtual Nurse is a suite of products with a common platform and a common vision. All products will follow the principle of simplicity, putting the face in “user interface”.
The first product incarnation of the platform is Virtual Carer, a specialised companion for assisting seniors to remain in their own homes in safety and good health. Virtual Carer has progressed beyond the proof-of-concept stage and is now entering user trials.
